Niava (Old Triparik: "blue") is one of the provinces of Septempontia.

Name

Niava is named in honor of Blue Mountain, which passes through the province and defines much of its geology. It is pierced, at the province's northern border, by the Lehigh Tunnel, and continues far to the southwest all the way into Kalmont, where Blue Mountain Tunnel passes through it.

Arms

Azure, the Star of Bethlehem Or.

The arms of Niava feature the Star of Bethlehem, a symbol of the province's traditional capital, Bethlehem, on a blue field, suggesting both the sky and the name of the province.
