Imperial Ceremonies

As the Sovereign of a constitutional monarchy, The Emperor presides
over a wide range of ceremonial duties and functions. Here are just a
few such functions:

  • As Head of State, it is his responsibility and honor to receive
    official visitors from other countries.
  • As Fountain of Honor, he confers peerage, knighthood, or other
honors upon worthy Septempontians or persons from other counties, to
recognize their talents and services to the Empire.
  • As Sovereign, he has the privilege of presiding over Parliament in
a ceremonial capacity whenever it assembles in one place.
  • He can create honorable ceremonial positions such as Cricket Bat
In Waiting (His Majesty's Official Bodyguard) and appoint persons to
    serve in those roles.
  • He holds the highest precedence at all formal social events and is
often called upon to say a few words to mark the occasion,
particularly at the celebration of Imperial holidays.
